Losing belly fat is not an overnight process; it is a very slow and steady progression that requires a lot of hard work. ·         Consume adequate quality protein (at least 30 % of daily intake) daily as it has higher thermic effect than carbohydrates and fat. It also keeps our hunger away for a longer duration. 

·         Carbohydrates can be obtained from higher fiber sources like vegetables, fruits, and high fiber unrefined grains.  

·         Avoid using refined sugars and refined grains as it is one of the main reasons for body fat. 

·         Include some fat intake in the diet as its deficiency may lead to some other side effects. This is mainly important for long diet plans especially over 3 months. 

·         Drink more amount of water as it is essential for fat burning process.

·         Cut out all the sugary drinks, sports drinks and commercial juices.

·         Increase the intake of vegetables and fruits. 

·         Drink more water, green tea and fresh homemade juices.
